GrabEats — Android End User License Agreement (EULA)
Effective: April 23, 2026
This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is between you (“you”, “user”) and GrabEats Technologies Limited (“GrabEats”, “we”, “us”) for the GrabEats mobile application for Android (“App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
This EULA applies in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict regarding the App on Android, the more specific provision controls.
1. License grant
Subject to this EULA, GrabEats grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the App on Android devices that you own or control, solely to access GrabEats services in accordance with our published policies.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App. Without limitation, you must not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where prohibited law allows; (b) interfere with or disrupt the App, servers, or networks; (c) use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes; (d) scrape, automate, or overload our systems beyond normal consumer use; (e) circumvent security, payment, or access controls; (f) impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
4. Updates and changes
We may provide updates (including through Google Play) that are required for security, compatibility, or functionality. Continued use after we post an updated EULA or Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes to the extent permitted by law. Material changes may also be communicated in-app or by email where appropriate.
5. Third-party services
The App may rely on or display third-party services (for example payment providers, maps, or push notification services). Those services have their own terms and privacy notices. See our Third-party SDKs & services summary and Data sharing disclosure.
6. Intellectual property
The App, branding, and related content are owned by GrabEats or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted to you.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GrabEats and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the App is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App (if any) in the twelve months before the claim or (b) zero where the App is offered free of charge, except where law prohibits such limitations.
9. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify GrabEats against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App or violation of this EULA, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or your account if you breach this EULA, create risk or legal exposure, or where we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
11. Google Play
Where you obtain the App through Google Play, you acknowledge that Google is not responsible for the App or its content, maintenance, or support. Google may enforce Google Play terms separately.
12. Governing law and disputes
Unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country requires otherwise, this EULA is governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and courts in Zambia have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have as a consumer.
